Description
History
First produced in 1971 by the historic Antinori winery, Tignanello was the first Sangiovese aged in barriques and among the first Tuscan reds to include international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is crafted in the heart of Chianti Classico at Tenuta Tignanello, where the galestro and alberese soils play a crucial role in defining its finesse and complexity.
