History
Founded in 1999, Domaine de la Vougeraie is renowned for its biodynamic approach and artisanal winemaking. Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot, an entirely Chardonnay-planted monopole, is a historic walled vineyard dating back to the 12th century, originally tended by Cistercian monks. This exceptional Premier Cru embodies the pinnacle of Burgundian elegance.

Production method
- Harvest: Handpicked, with rigorous selection of the best grapes.
- Vinification: Gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels.
- Aging: Aged for 18 months in oak barrels (30% new oak), followed by additional bottle aging.

Tasting notes
- Color: Bright golden yellow with luminous highlights.
- Aroma: Refined aromas of citrus, white peach, toasted hazelnut, white flowers, and a pronounced mineral note.
- Taste: Elegant and enveloping, with a creamy texture, vibrant acidity, and a long, persistent finish rich in mineral nuances.
Possible pairings
Perfect with haute cuisine dishes such as lobster, scallops, seafood risottos, noble poultry, and soft cheeses like Brie. Also excellent with dishes featuring white truffles.
