Description
History
Sergio Genuardi selected a one-hectare vineyard in Casteltermini, Agrigento province, between 600 and 550 meters above sea level, overlooking the Platani Valley in the heart of the Sicani Mountains. This small plot, situated at 650 m a.s.l., is characterized by significant diversity mainly due to steep slopes, leading to the adoption of different pruning methods tailored to each vine’s vigor. Given these conditions, he decided to divide the hectare into seven parts and conduct multiple harvests, sometimes spaced a month apart. This led to the “Le Sette Vendemmie” project—seven harvests yielding wines from the same grapes and rows but entirely different.
