History
Founded in 1923, Cantina Girlan is located in South Tyrol, one of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions. The Sauvignon Indra exemplifies the region’s ability to produce top-quality Sauvignon Blancs, thanks to its cool climate and mineral-rich soils.

Production Method
The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed to preserve their aromas. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by aging on fine lees for several months, enhancing complexity and structure.

Tasting Notes
Bright straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose reveals intense aromas of tropical fruits, citrus, elderflower, and subtle vegetal notes. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a pronounced acidity that balances the softness. The finish is long, mineral, and harmonious.
Food Pairing
Perfect with fish dishes, shellfish, sushi, and salads. Also ideal with fresh cheeses, grilled vegetables, and herb-based preparations. Excellent as an aperitif to start a meal.
