Description
History
Rum Nation is an award-winning brand, distributed worldwide and appreciated by rum lovers of all nations, with a history spanning over twenty years. Founded by Fabio Rossi, the brand selects casks of rum from various regions, uniting a selection of the best rums from different nations under one series.
Production Method
The rum is produced from molasses fermented and distilled in a column still. After distillation, the spirit is transferred to northeastern Guatemala, where it matures for at least 4 years in ex-bourbon white oak barrels at 185 meters above sea level, in the Hondo river region. This area, with high humidity and an almost tropical climate, allows for rapid and intense maturation, imparting unique characteristics to the rum.

Tasting Notes
Visually, the rum exhibits a chestnut honey color. On the nose, it offers a floral and delicate bouquet, with the typical aroma of cane sugar and a hint of buttery character, accompanied by notes of dates, raisins, and orange rind. The palate is easy and velvety, with a sweetness that is not syrupy, featuring notes of vanilla, cola, raisins, and crème brûlée. The finish reveals an herbal touch reminiscent of vermouth, with hints of orange rind, anise, and licorice, becoming more tannic and toasted, with herbal notes and black pepper coming to the fore, and a delicate burst of warmth.
Possible combinations
Ideal to be enjoyed neat or with ice, it pairs well with a dessert based on dark chocolate or dried fruit. Also excellent as an ingredient in refined cocktails, where its sweet and spicy notes can add complexity and depth.
