Description
History
The distillery and this rum were born in Costa Rica, a strip of land surrounded by green forests and a tropical climate, in 1985. The soils on which the plantations are located are ideal soils for the cultivation of sugar cane, predominantly volcanic with very white beaches; this allows to obtain very complex rums aged mainly with the Solera method capable of perfectly reflecting the territory and tradition.
Production method
To produce an “industrial” rum (this is how rums produced in the islands of former Spanish domination are called) molasses is used, which are often nothing more than sugar beet residues after processing for the production of the latter. This is then fermented, created a must and distilled. Subsequently these can be aged in wood and then created a blend of rums of various degrees of aging in order to find a perfect balance.

Tasting notes
Dark brown color with golden reflections. On the nose notes of ripe fruit, raisins and figs, with notes of wood, spices such as cinnamon, vanilla, almond, cocoa and arabica coffee. On the palate it confirms the great pleasantness and complexity, balanced by an extraordinary elegance. Long and persistent, bewitching sip, which returns on the finish on the spicy notes.
Usage
Perfect at the end of a meal or as a meditation. Great as a gift for someone special.
