Description
History
Montevertine was purchased by Sergio Manetti in 1967 as a holiday home and, planning to produce wine for himself and for friends and relatives, he planted some Sangiovese vineyards. The results obtained were already surprising enough that a few bottles were sent to Vinitaly in Verona and it was immediately a great success. From then on it was decided to get serious, Sergio will devote himself exclusively to the production of wine, increasing the quality every year. The company has its own land at 425 m a.s.l. and is located in Radda in Chianti and only typical varieties of the denomination are grown, including Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino.
Production method
Produced with the pomace of Pergole Torte. Aged for 18 years in barriques from the Nannoni distillery.

Tasting notes
This grappa is light and bright amber in colour. On the nose, notes of dried fruit and raisins, saffron, delicate notes of vanilla and chocolate are perceived. On the palate, it is soft and elegant, with a body structure.
