History
Domaine Sylvie Esmonin is a historic family estate located in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. Sylvie Esmonin took over the estate from her father Michel, introducing innovations while respecting the winemaking traditions of the region. The Clos Saint-Jacques vineyard is considered one of the finest Premier Cru sites in Gevrey-Chambertin, renowned for producing wines of extraordinary finesse and longevity.

Production method
- Harvest: Manual harvesting with rigorous selection of grape clusters.
- Vinification: Fermentation with a significant proportion of whole clusters (approximately 56%) to enhance aromatic complexity.
- Aging: Maturation in French oak barrels, with a proportion of new wood to add structure and depth to the wine.

- 13% vol.
Tasting notes
- Color: Deep ruby red with garnet highlights.
- Aroma: Complex bouquet with notes of blackberry, blueberry, violet, and mineral hints of flint.
- Taste: Medium-bodied on the palate, with fine tannins and lively acidity. Flavors of wild berries, spices, and an earthy note, with a long and precise finish.

Pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, game, roasts, and aged cheeses. Also ideal with mushroom and truffle-based dishes.
