Production Method
Grapes are harvested in the second decade of September from all the estate’s Sangiovese vineyards, yielding 65 quintals per hectare. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, followed by 10 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation occurs in large, used French oak barrels. The wine ages for 10 months in large barrels, followed by an additional 6-8 months in second-passage barriques, with bottle aging for 3-5 months.

Tasting Notes
The color is bright ruby red with a slight garnet rim. The nose reveals aromas of cherry and plum, with delicate new oak accents enriching the aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is juicy, with crisp cherry fruits, fine tannins, and good length.
Pairing Suggestions
It pairs perfectly with charcuterie boards and medium-aged cheeses, as well as with first courses featuring Tuscan meat sauce.
