History
Domaine Ramonet is one of Burgundy’s most celebrated wineries, with a legacy dating back to the 1930s. Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, the domaine is known for producing white wines of remarkable purity and finesse, thanks to meticulous vineyard management and traditional winemaking. The unique terroir of Côte de Beaune imparts these wines with a signature balance of minerality, structure, and aromatic depth.
Grapes used
- 100% Chardonnay
Production method
After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed, and the must ferments in oak barrels, where the wine matures for approximately 12-15 months. The careful use of oak, with a calibrated percentage of new barrels, enhances the wine’s complexity without overpowering its freshness.
