History
Founded in 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin is one of the most important and historic wine producers in Burgundy. With over 90 appellations and 80 hectares of vineyards, a significant portion cultivated according to biodynamic principles, the company is renowned for producing wines that reflect the elegance and diversity of Burgundian terroirs.

Production method
- Harvest: Manual harvesting of grapes at optimal ripeness.
- Vinification: Traditional fermentation in wooden vats with temperature control; maceration for about 2-3 weeks to extract color and tannins.
- Aging: Maturation in French oak barrels for a period between 16 and 18 months, with a percentage of new barrels ranging from 20% to 30%.

- 13.5% vol.
Tasting notes
- Color: Intense and bright ruby red.
- Aroma: Initial notes of cherry on the nose, followed by woody and fine spicy aromas, with an elegant hint of musk.
- Taste: The palate reveals extraordinary richness and harmony, supported by fine and noble tannins that give the body a silky texture. Acidity brings energy and liveliness, with a long and delightful finish.

Ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses. It also pairs perfectly with dishes featuring mushrooms and truffles.
