History
Founded in 1868 by Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne, Maison Canard-Duchêne is located in Ludes, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims Natural Park, one of the most prestigious areas of Champagne. The Cuvée Léonie celebrates the legacy and passion of the founders, reflecting the tradition and excellence of the Maison.

- 50% Pinot Noir
- 25% Chardonnay
- 25% Pinot Meunier
Production method
- Harvest: Manual harvesting of grapes from vineyards primarily located in the Montagne de Reims.
- Vinification: Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruity aromas.
- Aging: Aged on the lees for at least 36 months, with a significant proportion of reserve wines (about 35%) to ensure complexity and depth.
Alcohol content
- 12% vol.
Tasting notes
- Color: Pale golden yellow with fine and persistent bubbles.
- Aroma: Intense notes of exotic fruits, dried flowers, and bread crust, with hints of sweet spices and vanilla.
- Taste: Fresh and structured, with flavors of candied pineapple and a light spiciness, accompanied by pleasant effervescence and a long finish.
Possible pairings
Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with mixed cold cuts, goat cheeses, and seafood appetizers. Also ideal with fish dishes and white meats.
