Description
History
The Micheletti family has owned the company land since 1960 and have been cultivating olive trees and vines for many generations. The company is run by Micheletti Enio, his wife Benucci Enrica and their sons Maurizio and Moreno. All cultivation operations are carried out directly. Initially the company extension was six hectares mainly cultivated with olive groves and vineyards; since 1988, given the will of the children to continue the agricultural activity, neighboring lands have been acquired in order to increase production capacity. Currently the company extension is twenty hectares, a modest size that allows very high levels of quality.

Production method
Bolgheri DOC is a red wine produced in Tuscany. The production method involves the use of red berried grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, followed by an aging phase in wooden barrels. The wine must then rest in the bottle for at least 6 months before being placed on the market.
