Description
History
The Micheletti family has owned the company lands since 1960 and for many generations they have cultivated olive trees and vines. The company is run by Micheletti Enio, his wife Benucci Enrica and their sons Maurizio and Moreno. All cultural operations are carried out directly. Initially the company extension was six hectares mainly cultivated with olive groves and vineyards; since 1988, given the children’s desire to continue the agricultural activity, neighboring lands have been acquired in order to increase production capacity. Currently the company extension is twenty hectares, a modest size that allows very high levels of quality.

Production method
Bolgheri DOC is a red wine produced in Tuscany. The production method involves the use of red grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, followed by a refinement phase in wooden barrels. The wine must then rest in the bottle for at least 6 months before being released onto the market.
